People have a week left to donate to the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute’s annual fundraiser.

Only $1,500 is needed to meet this year’s goal of $20,000, which will be matched by the BUEI’s board members.

BUEI chief executive officer Karla Lacey said: “We are proud of the impact BUEI has had over the past 25 years in keeping Bermuda’s marine history alive, supporting conservation and an appreciation for the ocean and providing education opportunities to tens of thousands of students and visitors to our facility.

“We are incredibly thankful for the generosity of our all-volunteer board and donors, nothing we do is possible without them.”
