Temporary water outage announced
Piped water services will temporarily halt for portions of Devonshire and Hamilton Parish today as Belco carries out maintenance work.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Public Works said the scheduled outage will take place between 9am and 1pm at the Devon Springs Booster Pump Station, halting piped water service near by.
The spokesman added: “Once Belco’s work is complete and power is restored, the Water Section will place the plant back online.
“The ministry apologises for the inconvenience this may cause.”
