Lisa Howie, owner of Black Pony Gallery, said: “I am honoured to work with a hotel partner who appreciates the visual art talent on island and who respects my mission to present artwork from the mid-Atlantic region.
“Together we are inching along the narrative on how this region produces fine art and, we hope, shifting perspective that our island cultures are much more than beaches.”
Phil Hospod, founder and chief executive of Dovetail + Co, said: “At Dovetail + Co, partnering with local organisations in destinations we operate to offer enriching and memorable experiences is at the core of our hospitality mission.
“The opportunity for a Black Pony Gallery exhibit for the centennial season was the perfect alignment and we’re looking forward to having visitors to the hotel to see the artwork on display.”
Some pieces in the collection will be available for purchase.
