Convex End-to-End will benefit five organisations
A fun three-mile walk and cycle event is due to take place on May 6 and will benefit five charities and organisations.
The Convex End-to-End Fun Walk & Cycle, now in its second year, starts at 2pm at Beacon Hill in Somerset and ends in Dockyard.
Funds raised during this year’s event will go towards the Bermuda Zoological Society, Gina Spence Productions, The Eliza DoLittle Society, The Skills Development Programme and Vision Bermuda.
Anne Mello, End-to-End board chairwoman, said: “We are thrilled to have the Bermuda Special Olympics team, sponsored by Athene, participating in the Fun Walk & Cycle, as well as a team from the Mid-Atlantic Wellness Centre. Local physiotherapist Mauren Ryan, from Myotherapy Centre, will be providing the warm-up for the event.”
Natasha Scotland Courcy, the chief executive and general counsel of Athene Life Re, added: "It is an honour to be a part of an event that prioritises inclusivity and has a tremendous impact on the Bermuda community. We look forward to continuing our support for impactful fundraising events that support Bermuda’s broader community.”
