Bermuda Healthcare Services celebrates 30th anniversary
A health practice set up to provide Bermudians with “more choice in healthcare” celebrated its 30th anniversary this week.
Bermuda Healthcare Services held a reception for patients and staff yesterday to mark the occasion.
The facility at The Lane in Paget, was the idea of former premier Ewart Brown.
Speakers included medical director Mahesh Reddy and Tracey Moore, one of the early employees of the practice.
Dr Brown said: “Bermuda Healthcare Services was started 30 years ago as a way to give Bermudians more choices in healthcare.
“I am pleased to have, alongside my team, delivered excellent service to our patients over the years.
“On behalf of Dr Reddy and the full team, thank you to all our patients for trusting us with your care over the past 30 years.”
Also present was Mishale Corday, the recipient of this year’s Brown Family Scholarship.
Miss Corday is a recent graduate of Bermuda Institute and will be attending Howard University in the autumn.
Long-serving employees of Bermuda Healthcare Services were recognised for their service to Bermuda and the practice.
