Bermudians can celebrate Bastille Day at the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club next week.
Bastille Day, the national day of France, is a yearly holiday that commemorates the fall of the Bastille in Paris on July 14, 1789.
Next Friday’s event, sponsored by L’Alliance Francaise des Bermudes, will feature live music by Hana Bushara and Derek G, a three-course meal and raffle prizes.
Attendees should wear red, white and blue — the colours of the French flag – to the celebration, which will begin with cocktails at 6.30pm, followed by dinner at 7.30.
Tickets are $95 for alliance members and $105 for non-members and can be bought at bdatix.bm.
