Events set for Berkeley Institute’s Class of ‘73 reunion
The Berkeley Institute’s Class of 1973 has been invited to a full weekend of activities for their 50th anniversary.
The reunion weekend, starting at the end of August, will be held predominantly at the Grotto Bay Beach Resort & Spa.
It will be preceded with a car boot and bake sale this Saturday to help members of the class get reacquainted.
The car boot sale, which will take place at St Paul’s Christian Education Centre on Middle Road, Paget, will allow people to sell items from their cars.
Attendees can rent a space for the sale for $25.
The reunion weekend will kick off with a meet and greet on August 31 between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.
Tickets will be $45 and come with a complimentary drink upon entry.
The following day will see a games night at the old Berkeley Institute in Pembroke starting at 6.30pm.
September 2 will see a dinner banquet hosted at Grotto Bay, with the meal taking place between 6.30pm and 10.30pm and live music until midnight.
Tickets will cost $100 and attendees are encouraged to dress semi-formally with green, gold or white.
September 3 will have a family day, though the time and details will be determined at a later date. Tickets can be found and purchased at www.bdatix.bm.
