A man who drowned off North Shore last weekend has been named by police as 68-year-old Calvin Thomas.
A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said that on July 15, officers pulled Mr Thomas’ lifeless body from the ocean near Empire Grocery in Devonshire.
Mr Thomas, from Devonshire, was taken to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
An autopsy ruled out Mr Thomas’ death being caused by foul play and confirmed he drowned.
