Bermuda Society of the Arts prepares new exhibitions
The Bermuda Society of the Arts is set to hold two exhibitions on August 18 from 5pm to 7pm.
One will be in the Onions Gallery and the other in the Edinburgh Gallery, both at City Hall.
The exhibitions will feature local art.
In the Onions Gallery, Aesthetics 2023 a BSoA Summer Members Exhibition will be held.
The artwork will focus on attributes that are pleasing to the five senses, especially sight, with an emphasis on shape, colour and movement.
The Edinburgh Gallery will feature the work of young artists attending Bermuda’s schools in the first annual Harvey Cooper Award Summer Students, which will be presented by the award founders, Margot Kerry Harvey and Travis Cooper.
With space made available, students from Bermuda High School for Girls, Somersfield Academy and Whitney Institute Middle School will have the opportunity to showcase their work.
