Hotel flying the flag in support of Pride Week
The Hamilton Princess & Beach Club will be hosting a prom night as part of Bermuda Pride celebrations next week.
The hotel is a primary sponsor of Bermuda Pride — an annual festival organised by the charity OutBermuda promoting the island’s LGBTQ+ community.
Tim Morrison, the hotel’s general manager, said: "We are delighted to once again support Bermuda Pride and the LGBTQ+ community.
“At Hamilton Princess, we embrace the spirit of being unique, where we celebrate our differences, and support unity and inclusion.”
Tiffany Paynter, the executive director of OutBermuda, said: “We’re enormously grateful to the Hamilton Princess, who’ve remained constant in their support of our mission.
“Their sponsorship of Bermuda Pride 2023 helps ensure OutBermuda’s continued financial viability as we support our LGBTQ+ community in the pursuit of our unequivocal rights to be safe, seen, valued and thriving.
“We’re in an excellent position to continue to build on our successes thanks to their support and that of our other sponsors.”
The Kings, Queens And Everyone In Between prom will take place on August 25 at the hotel.
Other events include a Harbour Night “Takeover”’ next Wednesday, an Open Mic & Artist Talk, and a Pride parade. The celebrations peak next Saturday with a party In Victoria Park.
The Hamilton Princess is offering special rates for guest rooms during Pride 2023. Reservations can be made by booking online with the promotion code PPRD, or calling 295-3000 anytime through August 28 for hotel stays between August 21 and August 28.
