KEMH warns of weekend road closure

Access to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital will be affected on Saturday by a crane on the hospital’s through way.

The Bermuda Hospitals Board said the road would be blocked from 8am until about 2pm, with the crane placed between KEMH’s ambulance bays and the general wing lobby.

Emergency vehicles and people attending the emergency department should use the Point Finger Road entrance.

Hospital facilities and parking will remain accessible from Point Finger Road and Berry Hill Road, but traffic will not be able to travel between the general wing lobby roundabout and Point Finger Road.

The BHB apologised to the public for any inconvenience.
