Kraft Heinz and a local wholesaler have donated more than $10,000 to two charities.

According to a spokeswoman for Butterfield & Vallis, a portion of sales from select Kraft Heinz products, including Kraft mayonnaise, salad dressing and barbecue sauce, as well as Heinz mustard and relish at local stores purchased between February and April was given to the Bermuda Sloop Foundation.

The charity, which offers young people between 11 and 25 years old sailing and learning opportunities, received $4,222.88 from the campaign, a part of the KraftHeinz Cares initiative.

Some sales from the products purchased between May and July went to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Bermuda.
