Maths charity hopes carwashes will help the cash add up

A maths tutoring group will be holding a carwashing fundraising event tomorrow and next weekend to raise money for its charity wing.

Planet Math will hold the event in the Butterfield and Vallis parking lot on Woodlands Road in Hamilton.

All funds will go to the Fibonacci Foundation, which was established to fund the community outreach projects of Planet Math.

The carwash will be open from 9am to 3pm tomorrow and on October 14 and 15.

Carwashes will cost $30, while motorcycle washes will cost $15.

A spokesman for Planet Math said: “Planet Math is immensely grateful for the continued support of our community.

“By attending this carwash fundraiser, you are helping us make a tangible difference in the lives of our young people.

“Your generosity and participation mean the world to us and we look forward to seeing you there.”
