Fifty families in need got a windfall of groceries courtesy of One Communications.

The families are associated with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bermuda.

Shira Jatto, One’s marketing communications director, said: “We are deeply committed to making a positive impact and are honoured to support Big Brothers Big Sisters in their mission of creating positive change in the lives of children.”

Patrina O’Connor-Paynter, managing director, shared that families struggled with “grocery items, school snacks and household items”.

“We believe that by providing these groceries, we are not only nourishing their bodies, but also their spirits, and we hope that our contribution can ease some of the challenges these families face.”

Ms O’Connor-Paynter said: “It is a testament to the kindness and generosity of our community.

“We are deeply thankful to One Communications for their support, which will undoubtedly make a significant impact on the lives of the children and families we serve."
