Charity seeks public input on development plans
A charity that cares for seniors will host a public meeting this evening to get feedback on how it can develop an historic but derelict property.
Age Concern was granted conditional permission to develop Admiralty House in Spanish Point last month.
The building was once used by the Royal Navy to house British admirals and staff, but has fallen into disrepair.
Tanya Bule, the charity’s chairman said: “We want to hear from everyone who has an opinion on the various ways the site can be used and hope that island residents will attend the town hall so that we can get as many viewpoints and suggestions from the community as possible.”
The meeting will be held today at the Salvation Army Citadel on North Street, Hamilton, from 6.30pm.
