Clarien donates flowers and photographs to BHB
A local bank has donated flowers to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital and Agape House.
Michael De Couto, Clarien’s executive vice-president and chief digital and marketing officer, said the bank will also donate framed Bermuda photographs to the two facilities with the aim of improving the visitor experience.
Highlighting the bank’s commitment to supporting the overall Bermuda community, Mr De Couto added: “We are pleased to be able to give back to the hospital and Agape House by showing a small act of kindness that we believe will make a positive impact on people’s lives, especially during difficult times.
“By donating flowers to KEMH and Agape House, we hope to bring a sense of comfort and warmth to patients, their families and the hardworking, dedicated healthcare professionals on the Island.”
This donations are part of the bank’s Clarien Plus initiative, which provides specialised products to specific clients.
Welcoming the contributions, R. Scott Pearman, Bermuda Hospitals Board’s deputy chief executive, said: “Both the floral bouquets and the photographs will brighten the atmosphere of our hospital.
“Visitors, patients and our staff will certainly enjoy them.”
