Roadside sobriety checkpoints for New Year’s weekend

Police will be out to conduct roadside sobriety checks as the island rings in 2024.

According to a notice published in the Official Gazette, roadside sobriety checkpoints will be set up across the island between Friday, December 29, and Tuesday, January 2.

The notice said that the checkpoints would be in all nine parishes over the course of the holiday weekend.
