Minister of Health donates blood during festive season
The Minister of Health donated blood last week to help promote what is considered “the gift of life” to those in medical need.
Kim Wilson visited the Bermuda Blood Donor Centre at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital to make the donation.
She said: “Donating blood during the holidays is a powerful way to spread joy and goodwill.
“By donating during this particular time, we are offering the gift of life to those in need. Our generosity can make the season brighter for individuals facing health challenges, creating a positive ripple effect that embodies the true spirit of giving.
“I am genuinely grateful for the chance to contribute meaningfully to this vital cause.
“I encourage those eligible to give blood, as doing so holds incredible value for our community. Your contribution can make a significant impact on the wellbeing of others.”
Donating blood can help to save lives during medical emergencies, surgeries and treatments, offering a beacon of hope and support to those in need.
