‘Search’ for missing teen reaches Day 51

Ajahni Lema-Bascome: missing since November 9

Police have urged those who know of missing child Ajahni Lema-Bascome’s whereabouts to contact them as soon as possible as the search for him marks its 51st day.

A police spokesman said that “someone knows where Ajahni is” and that “at 16 years of age, Ajahni is still considered a juvenile and to be clear, harbouring a juvenile is an offence punishable under the law”.

A person guilty of this offence can receive a maximum fine of $3,000 or six months’ imprisonment.

Ajahni is described as approximately 5ft 8in and 125lb, light-complexioned and of slim build, with dark hair worn unkempt or in plaits.

He went missing November 9 and was last seen in Spanish Point, Pembroke, on December 21.
