Temporary delays in the issuing of driving licences

Receipts are being issued to confirm the renewal of driving licences while engineers work to fix a printing problem at the Transport Control Department.
A spokeswoman for the Ministry of Transport said: “The Transport Control Department advises customers that the printing of driving licences is currently unavailable.
“During this temporary disruption, TCD is issuing receipts to confirm licence renewal.
“Network engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible and to restore this service to the public.”
