Corrections confirms fight in Westgate prison

A brawl between two prisoners in Westgate Correctional Facility led to an assault, the Department of Corrections said.
The fight broke out on the afternoon of February 2.
It was described by the department as “an inmate-on-inmate assault”.
"Corrections Officers quickly took the necessary actions to defuse the situation and get the situation under control, thus minimising any safety and security risks.
“The appropriate disciplinary action has commenced.”
