PHC to host Good Friday fun day
The Pembroke Hamilton Club will be hosting a daylong Good Friday at the club’s field in Warwick tomorrow.
The day will begin at 10am with a 1.25 mile run/walk from Lindo's in Warwick to PHC Field on Stadium Lane. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in each respective category.
From 11am, there will be several fun castles for children of all ages, a carnival area for all and kite-flying. The club has partnered with the Bermuda Tourism Authority, which will host an Easter egg hunt, a fishcake eating competition and more celebrations.
Music throughout the afternoon will be provided by DJ Hershey from King Jyrus Sound and DJ Nico.
Local vendors, such as Chef Wayne’s Jerk Spot and Ashley’s Lemonade, will have food and drinks for sale throughout the day.
The theme of this year's fun day is “Strengthening Families”, and residents are encouraged you to take part with family members. When posting pictures on social media, attendees are asked to use the hashtags #FamilyMattersPHC #WeArePHC #PHCZebras.
The event, which will finish at 7pm, is being sponsored by the Bermuda Tourism Authority, Lindo’s, Butterfield & Vallis, BGA and Barritts Ltd.
To register for the race, go to www.RaceDayWorld.com. Registration is $10 for children under 18 and $15 for adults. Bermuda Timing Systems will provide chip timing and race results immediately following the race.
