Families flock to Hamilton Princess for Easter activities
Families visited a popular Hamilton hotel yesterday to enjoy warm weather and festive activities for Easter.
The Hamilton Princess & Beach Club hosted an array of springtime celebrations, including an all-day brunch and an Easter egg hunt for children who were treated to face painting and a visit from the Easter bunny.
The hotel also had an all-chocolate Easter display that featured animals taking part in springtime festivities.
Nzingha Ming said that she initially came to enjoy the brunch with her daughter, Lyani Smith, but a mistake with reservations led to them enjoying gelato in the sun instead.
Ms Ming said: “I’m just happy it’s a nice day. It’s a great place to take photo shoots, especially by the water and the different murals they had.
“This just felt like a nice, relaxing place with good-quality food to come to.”
DJ Simons, 35, said that he and his wife brought their son, aged 3, for his first Easter brunch.
The Sandys resident said that his son’s grandparents joined them for the festive occasion, and that he hoped to pick up goodies on an Easter egg hunt later.
Mr Simons said that he always made sure to spend the holiday with his family, which had been a staple for them.
He added: “It’s really nice, especially when we’ve got nice weather like today.”
