Fresh Air Films event on next month
Two films will be shown at a City park next month for an outdoor entertainment event.
The City of Hamilton said Fresh Air Films: Sunset Cinema will be held at Barr’s Bay Park on June 22.
The free event features the PG-rated Kung Fu Panda 4, which will start at 6.30pm.
It will be followed by The Beekeeper, rated R, from 8.30pm.
A spokeswoman for the City said: “We’re calling all moviegoers to pack your comfiest chairs and blankets and let us transport you to a cinematic paradise alongside the breathtaking Hamilton harbour for one of the most popular events in our event calendar.
“Prepare to immerse yourself in the magic of movie night against the backdrop of Hamilton's most picturesque waterfront, offering unparalleled views across the marina.”
Gates will open at 5.30pm and the City said patrons should “come early to secure the best spots and don't miss out on the cinematic event of the summer”.
It added: “A limited number of City-provided seating options will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.”
Food and drinks vendors will be on-site while eateries are also near by.
