Police made a final call for the owner of a “significant amount of cash” found in Southampton to come forward.

A spokesman for the Bermuda Police Service said the money was discovered on March 10 in the area of Church Bay Park.

Police announced the discovery of the cash in March, with a subsequent call for its owner to come forward in April.

Anyone who may have misplaced any money in the Church Bay area was asked to get in touch with Detective Chief Inspector Jason Smith, of the Specialist Investigations Department.

They may call 717-0864 or e-mail jsmith2@bps.bm.
