Access to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital will be affected by crane operations on Wednesday, a spokeswoman for the Bermuda Hospital’s Board said.
She advised that “there will be no through traffic on the campus of the hospital between Point Finger Road and Berry Hill Road from 7am to noon”.
The spokeswoman said: “The closure is necessary to facilitate a crane lift of an air conditioning unit.”
Members of the public will be able to access the Emergency Department, the main acute wing entrance and the acute wing visitor parking lot from Point Finger Road.
The spokeswoman said access from Berry Hill Road will stop at the Botanical Gardens gate to KEMH.
