Adverse weather forces cancellation of Harbour Nights
Adverse weather conditions have forced organisers to cancel this evening’s edition of Harbour Nights.
The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce said the “difficult” decision was made “with the safety and enjoyment of our attendees, vendors and performers in mind”.
It explained: “Under normal circumstances, our decision to cancel or proceed with Harbour Nights is made later in the day.
“However, the forecasts today have consistently shown that the weather conditions would not improve, making it highly unlikely for us to host a safe and enjoyable event.”
The chamber said: “The wellbeing of our community is our top priority, and we are committed to ensuring that Harbour Nights remains a safe and delightful experience for everyone.”
It added: “We apologise for any inconvenience this cancellation may cause and appreciate the understanding of all our patrons and participants.”
Residents were urged to stay tuned to the chamber’s official channels for updates and information regarding upcoming editions of Harbour Nights.
