Sip and paint event to raise funds for autism charity
The community is invited to participate in the Great Annual Sip and Paint for Autism event in support of Tomorrow’s Voices.
The event is the autism charity’s main fundraiser of the year and will take place at Barr’s Bay Park on September 29 from 6pm to 9.30pm.
A spokeswoman for Tomorrow’s Voices said: “The Best of Bermuda 2022 Best Charity Event takes the concept of a sip and paint, and spins it to even greater heights by making it the biggest night of painting, with all funds going to benefit the Tomorrow’s Voices Autism Centre’s therapeutic programmes, which assist individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
“The night will include dinner, an all-inclusive wine bar, a dessert bar and plenty of painting fun with participants receiving individual art supply kits and the chance to win fantastic prizes.
“Ensuring that the creativity can be unleashed, the evening will be set to the sounds of DJ Fury at the beautiful harbour-side setting at Barr’s Bay Park.”
This year marks the seventeenth year of Tomorrow’s Voices providing services to the community for those with autism and their families.
The charity has grown to include supporting individuals from the age of 2 into adulthood with advocacy, education and research-based therapeutic programmes.
