Stamps feature Bermuda-inspired Christmas trees

Alternative Christmas tree stamps are available at post offices (Image supplied)

Commemorative postal stamps featuring Bermuda-inspired alternative Christmas trees are now available.

The Bermuda Post Office said the trees were created by members of the Garden Club of Bermuda using local plant material and other reconstructed items.

The floral artists featured on the commemorative stamp series include Susan Conyers, Sylvia Outerbridge, Sheila Semos and Karen Smith.

A spokeswoman for the post office said: “These stamps demonstrate a unique take on Bermuda’s rich natural heritage and are a welcome addition in advance of the holiday season.

“Members of the public can purchase this latest commemorative edition from the Bermuda Post Office or any sub-post office.”

Orders can also be made online at philatelic.bermudapost.bm. Stamp prices range from 50c to $1.55.
