Ghouls and goblins will take to the streets for Zombie Walk
A hair-raising hike is to take place on Friday evening as the Youth Library stages its Zombie Walk.
The Teen Advisory Board of the Bermuda National Library presents the library’s “fun-filled event” which takes place from 6pm, starting at the main library on Queen Street.
A spokeswoman said participants “will skulk, limp and crawl” south to Front Street, east to Court Street, north up Court Street and then east on Reid Street extension. From there, the procession will turn north on to King Street and turn west on Church Street, ending at the Youth Library at 72 Church Street, in the Bermuda Union of Teachers building.
“This is not just a walk but a community event where ghosts and goblins along the route will be giving out candy, and a few businesses along the way will be participating,” the spokeswoman said.
“At the end, there will be games and refreshments. We welcome participants of all ages to join us for this thrilling event.”
Tickets are $5 and can be purchased from the main library on Queen Street. Participants are encouraged to attend in costume.
