The Prime Minister of Grenada is to give the keynote address at a Progressive Labour Party gala event this month.

The PLP said Dickon Mitchell would attend its upcoming Black Tie Gala on November 16 at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club.

It said Mr Mitchell would share insights and words of encouragement with residents and the party as it builds “a fairer Bermuda for Bermudians”.

The PLP said: “Prime Minister Mitchell is a reform-minded, next-generation leader, who is working to modernise Grenada.

“He is a dynamic, young and socially conscious leader who is committed to the principles of fairness and justice.

“In his historic 2022 election, he inspired the youth of the nation, taking his party to government on a message of hope.”

The party said that the event, which begins with cocktails at 6pm followed by dinner at 7pm, will bring together PLP members, supporters and distinguished guests for a night of “elegance and inspiration”.

Tickets are priced at $150 for general admission, $250 for patrons and are available for purchase on gpass.bm.
