First Prev 1 2 Next Last

Motorists have been warned to watch out for runners on North Shore Road this weekend as Swan’s Running Club’s Northshore Medical Turkey Trot takes to the streets.

The 8km race is scheduled to take place between 8am and 10.30am on Sunday.

Competitors will set out from the Northshore Medical and Aesthetics Centre and go east on North Shore Road to Barkers Hill, where they will turn around and travel west along North Shore Road to the Pembroke Community Club.

A traffic notice said race marshals will direct traffic, while motorists were urged to use caution to avoid collisions with participants.

“There will be no road closures for this event,” the notice stated.

“The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full co-operation of the motoring public and apologises for any inconvenience that may result.”
