Community group to hold gathering at Rubber Tree
Paget and Warwick residents were encouraged to attend a community event at the Rubber Tree tomorrow evening.
The gathering was organised by the Paget/Warwick Hub group, which was formed to unite the community by addressing issues such as gang violence.
The collective includes church, school and club representatives from the two parishes.
A spokesman for P/W Hub said: “Representatives are joining the vendors who normally gather at the Rubber Tree from 5.30pm on Fridays, to leverage the approaching festive season by promoting a sense of solidarity and community unity.
“Residents are invited to bring along their chairs and join in the dialogue, good food on sale and neighbourly ambience.”
Residents are also invited to join in a prayer vigil which is scheduled to take place at the Cedar Hill Salvation Army at 4.30pm on Saturday.
