PechaKucha talks to cover wide range of topics
Seven speakers will give rapid-fire talks on subjects ranging from the fulfilment of creativity to ending homelessness at City Hall this evening.
The event is the latest in a series of PechaKucha 20x20 talks, in which storytelling is accompanied by 20 slides that appear for 20 seconds.
Speakers today are:
• Anil Chatergoon, who will delve into the profound themes of death and grief
• Aruna Dismont, who will explore the intricacies of human behaviour and survival instincts
• Charlotte Shreeve, who will invite the audience to explore the nuances of her recent art showing and finding fulfilment in creativity
• Denise Carey, who will advocate for practical solutions to addressing homelessness
• Hana Bushara, who will reveal how metaphor influences our perceptions and interactions
• Hannah Collins, who will share her knowledge as a pet parent, offering essential tips on rearing pets
• Tiffany Paynter, who will offer a bold and heartfelt celebration of poetry’s role in fostering courage and connection
The event will be held at the Bermuda Society of Arts at City Hall. Doors will open at 6pm and the talks will start at 7pm.
Entry is free, although donations for BSOA will be accepted at a cash bar.
