Runners urged to sign up for Sandys road race

Runners were urged to sign up for the Sandys 5km road race, hosted by the Friends of Sandys.
It will take place on December 15, starting at Boaz Island field, with cash prizes on offer.
Categories include 5km adult runners, adult walkers and children aged 10 to 15 walking, as well as a 2.6km run for children aged 8 to 15.
The 5km adult walk and children’s 2.6km run events will start at 8.15am from the Boaz Island petrol station, with the adult 5km run starting at 8.30am.
