The Salvation Army and Royal Bermuda Regiment bands will provide free entertainment at different locations leading up to Christmas.

A government spokeswoman said the bands will perform on the north lawn of the Royal Naval Dockyard on December 8 and at the Arboretum on December 14, both from 3pm.

They will feature at the Cabinet grounds on December 14 and in King’s Square, St George on December 21, with a 5pm start time at these locations.

The performances are part of the Department of Culture’s Bermudian Heartbeats lecture series.

Owen Darrell, the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport, said: “This is a wonderful time of year to connect with family, friends and neighbours.

“I encourage everyone to get out, enjoy the music and be part of the festive spirit that brings us all together.

“Let’s make this holiday season one to remember.”
