King’s Square will be at the centre of New Year’s Eve celebrations in St George once again this year.

A night of music, dancing and culinary delights will culminate in the traditional Onion Drop as the town sees out 2024 and welcomes 2025.

St George mayor Quinell Francis said: “The New Year’s Eve celebration is more than just an event — it’s a party that brings our entire community together.

“As we count down to midnight and celebrate with the Onion Drop, we’re reminded of the joy and unity that makes Bermuda so special.

“This year, we’re inviting everyone from across the island to join us in making memories and kicking off 2025 with excitement and cheer.”

MC Jah Simmons will get the evening started at 8pm, with live music from the Wall Street Band kicking off at 8.30pm.

From 11pm, audience members will be able to take to the stage when DJ Nadanja oversees a session of karaoke before the Onion Drop countdown begins just before midnight.

The entertainment continues into 2025, with DJ Nadanja spinning discs until 1.30am.

Revellers will be able to sample an array of street foods, while younger partygoers can enjoy a children’s fun zone.
