Joint church event takes place this Sunday

Hallelujah: Take Over Prayer and Worship Assembly is set for Sunday (Image supplied)

An annual combined prayer session involving several churches will be celebrated two weeks in advance, organisers have announced.

Churches across Hamilton Parish will meet at Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club on Sunday for the Take Over Prayer and Worship Assembly.

The experience is typically held on the fifth Sunday of the year, but was rescheduled because of an upcoming holiday, among other reasons.

The session will be hosted by the One Body in Christ Movement for God’s Purpose Creative Arts Ministry and Nikita Robinson, of The Worship Room radio show, on Magic 102.7FM.

Prayers will start at 3pm and touch on several topics, including repentance, government and education.

Performances will then take place at 4pm by the saxophonist Damon Hollis, End Time Harvest, Latreuo Dance Ministry and One Body in Christ Movement for God’s Purpose’s dancers and flaggers.

Attendees are encouraged to bring tents and chairs for the event, as well as shofars, flags, wings and streamers.
