Nominations open for Outstanding Teen Awards

Residents were invited to submit nominees for the 2025 Outstanding Teen Awards which celebrate the achievements and contributions of senior high school students.

Submissions must be made by the deadline of February 28.

An awards committee member said: “We are thrilled to launch the nomination process for 2025 and can’t wait to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of Bermuda’s youth.

“This event has been a cornerstone of our community, and we urge all schools and organisations to take part in recognising the hard work, talent and dedication of their students.”

The awards, which were launched almost 40 years ago, recognise exceptional young individuals in categories including Academic Achievement, Leadership, Sports, Performing Arts, Stem and Entrepreneurship.

Chiaje Rudo, a student from The Berkeley Institute, was crowned the overall winner in 2024.

The committee member added: “The 2025 ceremony promises to be another unforgettable event, shining a spotlight on the best and brightest of Bermuda’s youth.”

Anyone wishing to nominate a student can do so via the nomination link. The link can be requested by calling Teen Services at 295-3220.
