Residents can expect “dynamic” and “immersive” experiences from an exciting line-up of signature events this year, the City of Hamilton said.

The activities will begin with Fresh Air Films: Drive-In Edition on April 12 at the City Hall car park.

Families and film lovers who plan to attend the outdoor, evening event can enjoy a double feature from the comfort of their vehicles, with food and beverage vendors on site.

A summer edition — Fresh Air Films: Sunset Cinema — will take place on June 21 at Barr’s Bay Park and will offer patrons a laidback, open-air movie experience under the stars.

On July 13, residents can attend Summer Sunday: City Funday at Victoria Park, an event that will transform the green space into a lively festival for all ages.

Attendees can enjoy live entertainment and a host of activities including pie-eating contests and a dunk tank.

This year, the City plans to host Taste of Bermuda from October 10 to 12.

Last year’s edition of the food festival was cancelled because of poor weather.

The City said: “This premier culinary celebration will showcase Bermuda’s vibrant food scene through chef and bartender demonstrations, a signature food festival and an exclusive fine dining experience with special culinary guests.”

Towards the end of the year, Hamilton will brighten with festive cheer, beginning with the annual Christmas tree light-up on November 28.

Families can sip hot cocoa, meet Santa and take in the sights and sounds of the season as Hamilton officially welcomes Christmas, the City said.

The events will culminate in Fresh Air Films: Christmas Edition on December 6, a holiday-themed movie night.

“After a remarkable year of celebrations in 2024 — from the Christmas Boat Parade and Bermuda's largest-ever drone show, to our popular outdoor movie nights — we are planning to deliver another unforgettable year of events.

“We invite residents, and those thinking about vacationing in Bermuda, to mark their calendars and join us in making 2025 another standout year in Hamilton.”
