A company headquartered in Bermuda has pitched in for philanthropy to the tune of $30,000.
The donations from the insurance and reinsurance firm Allied World were divided between Christ Church in Warwick, the Eliza DoLittle Society and the Salvation Army.
The move will support food procurement and meal preparation for the trio of charities that have provided “essential services to the community for generations”, the company said.
Colm Singleton, the head of the Bermuda office, said Allied World was proud to support the three organisations, recognising that “food insecurity is a pressing issue in our community”.
