Tag day to support youth programmes

A Bible-centred children’s charity will hold an island-wide tag day on Friday to support its youth development programmes.

The Child Evangelism Fellowship said that taggers will be located primarily at The MarketPlace stores, the People’s Pharmacy, as well as HSBC and Butterfield Bank branches.

It added that the funds will go towards programmes such as the Good News clubs, after-school and summer programmes, and holiday Bible clubs held in July and August.

Last summer, the fellowship said, it engaged 192 children in holiday Bible clubs.

The fellowship said: “We anticipate with the success of the tag day that we will be able to expand these important youth development initiatives.

“We are calling upon the public to assist us in our fundraiser tag day as we support our youth.”
