An anti-racism charity is raising funds to continue its programmes.
Citizens Uprooting Racism in Bermuda said tag days tomorrow and on Saturday were designed to “raise awareness and generate vital funds to support Curb’s ongoing anti-racism and restorative justice initiatives”.
Programmes include the Black History in Bermuda timeline in schools, a student leadership conference, fostering conversations on racial healing and fighting for policies that promote equity.
The first tag day coincides with the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination and Curb representatives will accept donations at various locations across the island.
