Ag Show readiness work to close Botanical Gardens

Preparations for the Ag Show mean that the Botanical Gardens will be closed to the public on April 6 and 7, it was announced today.
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment, with the Department of Parks, added that the temporary closure was required to allow essential work to take place.
The Annual Agricultural Exhibition will run from April 24 to 26.
“These works are part of final site-readiness efforts to ensure the grounds are safe, clean and in optimal condition for this much anticipated three-day event, which welcomes thousands of attendees annually,” the ministry added.
The gardens are expected to reopen to the public on April 8.
