The Ministry of Public Works and Environment wishes to inform the motoring public that there will be a road closure on Woodlands Road between Saltus and BAA in Pembroke Parish for the Bermuda Walls mural festival.

The festival is being held by Butterfield & Vallis and will take place on April 13 between 11am and 4pm.

Motorists are asked to avoid this road closure section and to use alternative routes via Serpentine Road and St John's Road for the duration of this event.

Access along this section of road closure will be restricted to emergency vehicles only and traffic control will be under the direction of Butterfield & Vallis representatives.

The Ministry of Public Works and Environment encourages the full co-operation of the motoring public and apologises for any inconvenience that may result.

Should there be any questions regarding this closure, call Shunae Henry on 536-2244 or 236-6688.

Press release from the Government of Bermuda

UPDATE: this story has been updated to reflect that the closure has been necessitated by the Bermuda Walls mural festival, not the Butterfield & Vallis 5K Race as stated in an earlier government release
