Golfers tee off to support housing renovation charity

The Habitat for Humanity charity golf day, held on February 28 at Tucker’s Point, proved to be a resounding success.

The event brought together enthusiastic golfers, generous sponsors and great prize donors in a spirit of camaraderie and shared purpose.

Participants showcased their golfing prowess and enjoyed a day of friendly competition on the lush greens of Tucker’s Point.

The scenic course, known for its challenging layout and stunning vistas, provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable event.

One of the most notable outcomes of the day was the impressive amount raised.

A total of $31,000 was secured through the combined efforts of participants, sponsors and donors.

This significant sum will go a long way in supporting Habitat for Humanity’s ongoing projects.

Such a successful event would not have been possible without the dedicated efforts of the organising committee.

A heartfelt thank you is extended to the tier 1 sponsors — Talcott Financial, Conyers, Forvis Mazars, Axa XL — whose generous contributions played a pivotal role in the event’s success.

Additionally, the golfers who participated and the donors who provided prizes are all deeply appreciated and, of course, Rosewood Tucker’s Point.

The success of this charity golf day sets a high bar for future golf tournaments.

Plans are already in the works for the third annual charity golf day in support of Habitat for Humanity.
