A docuseries has delved into the lives of four prominent Bermudians.

The latest entries in the Gold Bermudians series showcased former Miss World Gina Swainson, entertainer Stan “Lord Necktie” Seymour, author Brian Burland and opera singer Gary Burgess.

Those previously highlighted in the series include National Heroes Mary Prince and Pauulu Kamarakafego, Olympic medal-winner Clarence Hill and actor Earl Cameron.

Film-makers Antoine Hunt, Milton Raposo, 7 South Productions, and Mark Rodriguez brought to life the films, which premiered at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute on March 29.

Owen Darrell, the culture minister, said: “The Gold Bermudians documentary series continues to serve as an important platform for celebrating and preserving Bermuda’s cultural history.

“These films not only honour our cultural icons but also serve as an inspiration for future generations to follow in their footsteps.

“The Department of Culture is proud to support this project and highlight the rich artistic and creative legacy of our island.”
