A bouquet of the springtime flower that became synonymous with Bermuda in the 19th century has arrived at Windsor Castle in time for Good Friday.
The floral gift of Easter lilies for King Charles III continues an annual tradition, with Andrew Murdoch, the Governor, taking part in his first official picking at Windybank Farms in Smith’s.
Mr Murdoch was joined yesterday by farmers Malcolm and Benn Smith, with the lilies heading out on the British Airways flight last night to London.
The Governor thanked the airline, Windybank and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
