Police to host western community meetings
Police are preparing to host a series of community meetings to hear about concerns in the western parishes.
Inspector Cerepha Bridgeman said the meetings are intended to provide updates about policing activities over the past year and give residents an opportunity to share their thoughts.
“These meetings provide an important opportunity for open dialogue between the Bermuda Police Service and the public,” Ms Bridgeman said.
“We look forward to sharing updates on our work and hearing first hand from the communities we serve.”
The first meeting is scheduled to take place tonight at the St Mary’s Church Hall in Warwick.
Subsequent meetings will be held at Vernon Temple Church Hall in Southampton on May 7 and St James Church Hall in Sandys on May 8.
All of the meetings will start at 6pm and are expected to conclude at 8pm.
