The Bermuda Netball Association Winter League is finally due to return tomorrow.

Having endured a frustrating prolonged absence from action, because of to the Covid-19 pandemic, the start of the delayed 2021-2022 campaign will get under way at Bernard Park with the Under-11 League, followed by the Under-14s, Under-17s and Senior Leagues respectively.

“We are ecstatic to finally be back to the sport we love, albeit with very little team preparation due to the many restrictions of Covid-19,” the Bermuda Netball Association said in a statement. “A lot of hard work has been put in by the BNA executive and council to be able to get to this day.

“Unfortunately, we will start with no spectators allowed inside the Bernard Park facility, with the hope of welcoming them real soon.”
